It’s on to the next round for the king of swing.

Darian King is just two wins away from yet another tennis title, having beaten Stefan Kozlov in straight sets yesterday to advance to the semi-finals of the ATP Stockton Challenger in California.

Having dropped outside the world’s top 200 for the first time in 15 months, King went up two breaks in both sets before upending the 144th ranked American 6-4, 6-4 on Court 2.

The Bajan ace is slated to face Tim Smyczek today after the former world No. 68 downed Sweden’s Next Gen contender Elias Ymer in an identical 6-4, 6-4 score-line just hours later. (JM)
