Bus stop survival

Timia Reece was one of the highlights of Spirit Of The Nation’s parish talent segment last night at the Wildey Gymnasium.

With her bulletproof vest, chastity belt, helmet and walking cane, she dealt with issues affecting women in her age group at the bus stop.

In a spoken piece entitled Dress Code, she explained her helmet and vest protected her from stray bullets and the chastity belt from young men who might consider assaulting her.

In spite of the serious nature of the piece, which won her Most Original Act, the audience was at times left in stitches. (SB)
