Police say there are a number of stolen RBC (Royal Bank of Canada Hastings) cheques in circulation drawn on the following account:
Name of account: Surfers Bay
Serial numbers: 000030 through to 0000100.
Businesses and members of the public are therefore advised against accepting such cheques as there are now considered worthless.
Should any person come across any of these cheques they are asked to contact the Police Financial Crimes Investigation Unit 430-7194/95/96 or the nearest police station. (PR)
