Tech issue stalls reggae show

A two-hour technical issue stalled the Digicel Barbados Reggae on the Hill just as Tarrus Riley’s band was setting up.

DJ music kept the crowd entertained as they sang along while others patronised food and drink stalls, despite the thick crowd being hard to navigate.

While the sky was overcast, there was only a slight evening drizzle which cooled down the Hill.

At 7:40 p.m. Tarrus, dressed in a yellow suit took to the stage to screams from the audience. (NS)
