THE NURSING STAFF at the Eunice Gibson Polyclinic were treated like royalty on Monday as they were pampered between shifts.
Acting senior health sister Hazel Forde said it was all in celebration of International Nurses Day.
“It is part of the appreciation we are showing for the nurses’ hard work. I thought we would invite some cosmetologists to offer manicures and pedicures,” she said.
In addition, Forde said there would be lectures on emotional health and skin care in order to take care of the staff on a spiritual, emotional and physical level.
Health sister Vicki Blackman said all the nurses really appreciated the effort and felt special and cared for. (CA)
