Accident victim named

THE 20-YEAR-OLD who died in a car accident early this morning has been identified as Chad Calvin Butcher of Waverley Cot, St George.

He was the lone occupant of the vehicle which hit an embankment then crashed into the wall of the National Sports Council in My Lord’s Hill, St Michael.

Butcher had to be freed from the car by members of the Barbados Fire Service.

He died at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital where he was taken by ambulance. (PR/NB)
