FOOTBALLERS who threaten local referees could get the boot for their actions.
That warning was contained in an account of disciplinary matters for the 2013 domestic season by chairman of the Barbados Football Association’s (BFA) disciplinary committee, Richard Lavine.
Lavine’s report formed part of the overall 2013 BFA annual report, which was circulated to delegates from member clubs at the association’s annual general meeting last monthend.
Lavine, who replaced trade unionist LeVere Richards, said like the past committee, the present committee found such threats to be a source of concern.
