Confidentiality of the voting procedure cannot be assured during tonight’s Cricket West Indies’ (CWI) virtual meeting to elect a president and vice president.

CWI’s corporate secretary/general consul, Alana Medford-Singh, made the revelation while replying to concerns raised by president of the Barbados Cricket Association (BCA) Conde Riley about the voting process for the 22nd annual meeting of members.

Sun Sport was able to obtain copies of both letters, which were dispatched during the past week in the lead-up to the elections.

First-term CWI president Ricky Skerritt, of St Kitts-Nevis, is being challenged by Anand Sanasie, of Guyana, while Calvin Hope, of Barbados, is running against Dr Kishore Shallow, of St Vincent and the Grenadines, for the vice presidency. (EZS)
