Members of The Truth For The Final Generation Church and their guests regaled themselves with lusty singing at the church’s annual music programme last Sunday.
The end of the year concert was held under the theme Shine Jesus Shine at the church in Kew Land, Bayley’s Hill, Redman’s Village, St Thomas. There were contributions from the children’s choir, senior choir and soloists using sign language, instruments and acrostics.
The youth played a significant role in executing the three-hour programme. They were not only performing but were active behind the scenes controlling the stage and sound engineering.
Voices Of Praise did selections I Need You Once Again, This Is How It Feels To Be Free and I Never Lost My Praise.
The senior choir also did All Hail Emmanuel while the church chorale rendered Rejoice The Lord Is King and Hallelujah Amen as the congregation joined in singing the popular hymn Angel Voices Ever Singing.
Saxophonist Rhea Brewster added variety to the evening with Pass It On.
Other contributions came from Jordan River with He’ll Keep You Through, Rhea Blackman with A Heart Like Thine, and the duo Nicole Joseph and Gabriel Brome who sang In The Sanctuary. (RL)
