Cheer and choice

Christmas is that time of year when people look for that extra cheer. And that need is oft-times greater for those thousands of miles away from home.
Such was the case for MV Ventura crew members yesterday. Their vessel, which sails into Barbados once a week, docked on Friday.
And three of the crew were caught going through Christmas ornaments at a popular Bridgetown store, hoping to bring a decorative festive feel to their cabins. They joined hundreds of Barbadians who flocked to The City yesterday to begin – or continue – their Christmas shopping and preparations.
Here, Liam Lakin (left), Hollie Topman and Carlton Connell with what at first seemed like too much to choose from – given the decorations of all shapes, colours and sizes.
