Police are investigating a shooting incident which occurred about 7:15 this morning in Silver Hill Drive, Christ Church.
The victim is 53-year-old Hugh Harewood of Wotton Plantation Christ Church. Harewood was reportedly involved in an altercation with a man who allegedly shot him. He received an injury to his groin and was transported to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by ambulance.
The assailant fled the scene on foot.
There were no other reports of damage or injury to other people or property.
