AMERICAN?R&B singer Fantasia did not disappoint her fans when she appeared in concert at the Gymnasium of the Garfield Sobers Complex on Sunday night.
Local singer Toni Norville and the Barbadian cast generally did themselves proud as supporting acts as well.
Fantasia Barrino, who rose to fame as winner of the third season of the reality television series American Idol in 2004, had superior vocal quality and excellent musical backing.
But it was Norville who left the complex with new respect based on the spontaneous and positive reaction from the appreciative crowd, as she literally went among them with her message of hope and self-reliance which ran along the theme of that coming from Fantasia.
