Bill on way

IN?THE?WAKE?of the slayings of three women in the last four months, Attorney General Adriel Brathwaite plans to fast track a Domestic Violence Bill to Parliament before year end.
His disclosure was made yesterday hours after National Organization of Women (NOW) president Marilyn Rice-Bowen called for the speeding up of the new bill.
The Attorney General told the media the bill was long overdue.
“Cabinet has seen the draft bill and approved it, so we are now getting it over to the Chief Parliamentary Counsel’s office,”  said Brathwaite.
