Suki takes masters

Ronald “Suki” King won the masters division of the Barbados Draughts Association’s Ronald Suki King National Draughts Tournament 2010at Top Grade Academy on Sunday.
King played unbeaten to finish on 23 points. Jack Francis was second with 21, and Rawle “School Boy” Williams was third with 19 points.
Michael Barker and Richard Grazette tied on fourth with 16 points.
In the majors division, Keith Barrow won with 28 points from Oliver Springer (27), Robert Taylor (21) and Claytis Springer (20), while Wilma Branch, the only woman in the tournament, came fifth with 18 points. (EZS)
