A GREAT DISTRACTION being played out in the theatre of the absurd.
That is how former Prime Minister Owen Arthur is describing the saga around Minister of Agriculture David Estwick ever since he presented alternative economic proposals to his Cabinet colleagues and has been awaiting a response from Prime Minister Freundel Stuart.
Speaking to members of the Christ Church West branch of the Barbados Labour Party (BLP) at Christ Church Foundation School last night, Arthur urged members of the BLP not to be distracted from their task by Estwick.
“The people’s business is our business,” he said, adding that it was not Estwick’s actions or what he would do.
