UPDATE: Police identify body of slain ‘bread man’

Police have identified the body of last night's shooting victim as that of Hayden Mayers of Hinds Road Black Rock St Michael.

 According to police, they responded to reports of a shooting at Mansion Road, Bank Hall St Michael, just after 10 p.m. on Thursday.  Upon arrival, they discovered Mayers’ body about 15 feet away from the vehicle from which he plied his sale of bread.

 “Anyone who can provide any information that can assist us in these investigations is asked to call the police at emergency number 211, District A at 4307223/7242 Crime Stoppers at 1800TIPS or any Police Station” Acting Public Relations Officer Sergeant Michael Blackman said in a statement this morning.
