The Caribbean Examinations Council’s (CXC) results are back. And in spite of a controversy swirling around the institution for most of 2012, students from The Alexandra School have come out on top.
Principal Jeff Broomes revealed to the Commission of Inquiry yesterday that the school had maintained its recent excellent showing at the CXC level, with a 70.45 pass rate.
In addition, 100 per cent passes were achieved in home economics and physical education.
“This year’s results are on par with what we have been seeing,” the principal said when asked about the results by attorney at law Cecil McCarthy.
