THE TEN PER cent tax on sweet drinks remains firmly in place for now.

However, Minister of Health John Boyce has revealed that could soon change as the two-year-old tax is under review and there are recommendations on the table to increase the tax to 50 per cent.

Boyce pointed this out yesterday during the fourth annual Caribbean Medical Providers Practising Abroad Medical Conference at Hilton Barbados.
