AZAREL CRONEY led the charge with a hat-trick as Claytons Kola Tonic Notre Dame rebounded from their crushing 9-1 Barbados Football Association Premier League defeat on Thursday night with a 5-1 thrashing of Youth Milan on Saturday night at the Wildey Turf.
In other cross-zone fixtures, Scotty’s Car Rentals St Andrew Lions dispatched Mark’s Auto Spares Porey Spring United 2-0, thanks to a virtuoso display from Bruno da Silva, while champions Weymouth Wales beat Crane and Equipment Ellerton 2-1 in their final game before journeying to Curacao to compete in the CONCACAF Caribbean Club Shield, which begins on Friday.
The wounded Dames made a number of changes from Thursday night with defender Aaron Leacock deployed between the sticks and striker Kyle Gibson positioned at centre back.
Adamant to prove naysayers wrong once again this season, Dames struck first in the 12th minute through captain Zeco Edmee. Dishon Howell’s excellent work on the left flank resulted in a cross at the back post to Edmee, who went full stretch to convert.
