Greens, Applewhaites pumping stations running again

The Barbados Water Authority (BWA) has released a statement informing the public that repair work has been completed at the Greens and Applewhaites pumping stations.

However, today the BWA is still experiencing low reservoir levels at the Shop Hill and Castle Grant facilities. These low levels have resulted in water outages to some St Joseph areas including Horse Hill, Chimborazo, Melvins Hill, Fruitful Hill, Spa Hill, Bissex, Mellows Hill and surrounding districts.

The BWA will assist customers in the affected areas via community tanks and water tankers as a temporary measure. (PR)
