Talma strikes gold

Barbados secured a third gold medal at the 34th Carifta Swimming Championships moments ago.

Fourteen-year-old Keilani Talma stamped her authority in the pool winning the 13-14 girls 200metre Butterfly with a personal best time of 2:32.49 seconds swimming out of lane four.

Allyson Belfone of the Cayman Islands took the silver medal in 2:34.51 while Trinidad and Tobago’s Zoe Anthony won bronze (2:34.59)

Earlier tonight Roan Barker won a silver medal in the 15-17, 200- meter individual medley.
