Richard Kessio didn’t mind running alone yesterday.
And he may do it again this morning too.
The Kenyan athlete showed he has near superhuman strength, easily winning yesterday’s Run Barbados 10K in just over half an hour.
This morning he will take to the streets again, this time to defend his title in the Run Barbados Marathon.
Yesterday, Kessio had few problems in perfect running conditions, taking his first 10K title in Barbados, ahead of Matt Loiselle of Canada and Simon Sawe of the United States.
The first Barbadian home yesterday was Jerome Blackett, who continues to rule the roads this year.
