CAL cancels flights

Caribbean Airlines and Air Jamaica flights scheduled for tomorrow have been cancelled.
A release today from the airlines noted that passengers were advised that due to the current weather situation in New York due to Hurricane Irene, some flights have been cancelled.
“Caribbean Airlines continues to monitor the situation closely. Once we have received more information regarding the situation we will be able to give more information about the afternoon and evening flights for Sunday August 28,” it stated.
Officials at the airline apologised to customers for the incovenience. (PR)
