Bookings bonanza at Intimate

WITH JUST WEEKS remaining before the mid-December official start of the winter tourist season, hotels are predicting strong performances.

And bookings appear to be high for the 50 small properties comprising the Intimate Hotels grouping.

Chairman Kashka Haynes said based on reports 2015 will end on a strong note and forward bookings point to high occupancy.

“There’re multiple reasons for this. The economies in our main source markets are performing better. The price of oil is quite low so that helps with bringing down the cost of airfare. We have increased airlift so that helps with seat supply and then we have a number of hotels that have reinvested in their properties and plants . . . ,” he said. (WILLCOMM)
