Sitting pretty

When a group of artists gets together to showcase their works, you can expect creativity, options, excitement, and a room full of nice things.
If there’s any question in your mind about this summation, then you should visit the Barbados Arts Council at Pelican Village, on the outskirts of The City, any time between now and April 30, to view the plethora of paintings on display during a special “group show” exhibition.
Almost every subject you can think of can be found there; village life, beach life; portraits; animal life; plant life; country scenes . . . and more.
Among the artists displaying their works are Maggie Tanish, Marilda Weatherhead, Norma Farmer, Sue Williams, Barbara Pickering, Patrick Browne, Everick Lynton, Neville Oluyemi Legall, Andy Pierce, Glenroy Jordan, Francine Toppin, Shirley Lashley, Andy Peirce, Roslyn Worme, Virgil Broodhagen, Allan Ashby and others.
