SCORES OF STUDENTS, teachers and the public flocked to the Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Centre over the past two days to take part in a technology workshop put on by the Ministry of Education and Human Resource Development.
And from all indications, students and teachers were very interested in the use of most of the technologies in the education process.
Programme director of the coordinating unit, Paul Murphy, said he was very pleased with the “overwhelming” response from the public. The event, titled Barbados Technology In Education Conference, will climax today.
The booths ranged from online application systems to security systems, video conferencing to musical equipment and games, among others.
