Motor sport is unlikely to travel at the same speed again, says experienced driver Mark Maloney.

But he believes that as long as racing enthusiasts are open to the changing “gears”, everyone should be able to cross the line successfully.

“I don’t think we are ever going to have as much motor racing as we did before. We have to look at what we can do that we didn’t do before that can bring us results. If we can work with that, then it gives us the opportunity to explore doing things differently,” Maloney told Sun Sport.

The 2016 and 2017 Group 4 two-wheel-drive champion in the Seaboard Marine Caribbean Motor Racing Championships (CMRC) said the motoring fraternity needs to find a way to engage racing fans as economically as possible. (RG)
