RICARDO BLACKMAN Jr was the toast of the town on Saturday night at the Queen’s Park Steel Shed.
The promising 21-year-old amateur boxer put on a riveting performance on his way to defeating Guyana’s Joel Williamson at the Lionel Hall/Carlton Hope Memorial Boxing Tournament.
So dominant was Blackman that he was also named the Most Outstanding Boxer of the evening, beating out seven other winning pugilists.
