BRIDGETOWN, Barbados – Hilton Barbados Resort has added another prestigious award to its many accolades. This time it’s the Genius of the AND Award.

The Barbados property is one of 17 hotels out of over 2 800 Hiltons in the Americas to win this award. The Genius of the AND Award focuses on components of the property targets for the last year, including Satisfaction and Loyalty Tracking, RevPar- Revenue per available room, TGOP-Target  gross operating profit and EBITDA- Earnings before Income tax, depreciation and amortisation.

The ‘And’ aspect of the award speaks to anything that is done to improve and wow guests in all areas of the hotel and general manager of the resort, George Stanfield, explained that capturing the award was a major achievement:

“This is the first time since we reopened in 2005 that we have won this award. It speaks volumes for the team’s hard work and dedication – as they are constantly going the extra mile to make the Hilton experience extra special for all our guests.”

He added that it was an extremely proud occasion for the property and, by extension, the Needhams Point Holdings led by chief executive officer Henderson Williams and under the board chairmanship of Kenneth Gittens. “Winning this award demonstrates the commitment of both Hilton Barbados Resort and Needhams Point Holdings to the success of this property and also shows the close working relationship between the two entities”.
