COVID-19-positive individuals have been warned against failing to check and document their symptoms regularly.

That caution came yesterday from consultant manager of the Home Quarantine programme, Dr Adanna Grandison, after the recent approval of Home Isolation and Home Quarantine.

The earlier severe symptoms are treated, the better the patients’ chances of fighting off the viral illness, she said.

“We are asking persons to take their oxygenation status, temperature and symptom checks during the morning and evening, as well as having a telemedicine consult that can happen randomly during the day, or in some instances, an in-person consult. (TG)
