There has been a major shake-up within the ANSA McAL group in Barbados, with reports yesterday that at least four senior executives in the conglomerate were to be relieved of their duties.
However, in a statement last night, president and chief executive officer of ANSA McAL Barbados, Nicholas Mouttet, mentioned only the departure of John MacKenzie, the president of Consolidated Finance.
Consolidated Finance, one of the island’s largest non-bank financial institutions, was established in 1983 and is a wholly-owned subsidiary of ANSA McAL Barbados, whose parent company is the Trinidadian corporate giant, the ANSA McAL Group of Companies
The SATURDAY SUN was informed that the other corporate cuts were to be made within two of ANSA McAL’s local subsidiaries. (GE)
