FOLLOW THE LEADER. That is what it seemed these sheep and goat were playing along a busy section of the main road in The Garden, St James, last Saturday. A flock of 20 Black Belly sheep would diligently follow a black nanny goat, who seemed to be the leader of the group, wherever she went. They followed closely, keeping a certain distance. Whenever the goat stopped to graze, so would the sheep, and when she walked, the sheep walked, much to the amazement of passing motorists, some of whom had to stop as the animals were led across the street by their leader – the goat.
