PAUL “THE SURFER” BOURNE kept up his winning ways and brushed aside challenges from an impressive field in the Motoring Club Barbados Inc.’s (MCBI) speed event ‘Hammertime’ last Sunday.
Set from Society-Pool, St John, Bourne in a well turned out Ford Focus WRC gave notice of his intentions by posting the fastest time on the “practice run” of 2 minutes 48.97 seconds and never looked back.
He stayed on course throughout the day’s action and posted the event’s fastest time of 2 minutes 44.68 seconds, once again beating arch-rival Roger “The Sheriff” Skeete in a Subaru Impreza S12 into second place.
Skeete returned a time of 2 minutes 46 minutes 13 seconds.
