THE BARBADOS FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION’S Digicel Premier League is back at the Wildey playing facility.
Yesterday’s triple-header was shifted from the Usain Bolt Sports Complex and updated fixtures released by the BFA last Friday showed that the next seven match days would also be played at Wildey.
At a press conference last month to launch this year’s season, BFA president Randy Harris had said that matches would return to the National Stadium and would also be played at the Usain Bolt Sports Complex.
When contacted yesterday, the association’s general secretary Edwyn Wood explained the decision to return to Wildey, citing athletics as the main reason. (RA)
