THE LONG KEPT “secret” at the Cave Hill campus of the University of the West Indies (UWI) is finally out.

Principal Sir Hilary Beckles said today they will no longer be keeping quiet on the level of research and work done in the faculty of Science and Technology, which has led to people in some quarters to say that the university was not research-driven.

He let the secret out during a presentation of a book, which gives people detailed information on the work being done in the faculty and the people who are responsible for driving it.

The first book was presented to businessman Ralph “Bizzy” Williams who is a longstanding benefactor. (YB)
