A third youngster yesterday threw in the towel and confessed to his part in the incident that left bread man Hayden Mayers dead four years ago.

Romario Hobbs Daisley, now 22, of Tranmore Lane, Waterford, St Michael, whose statement to police said he was the “lookout”, admitted in the No. 4 Supreme Court that he unlawfully killed Mayers.

He was originally charged with murdering 50-year-old Mayers, formerly of Hinds Road, Wavell Avenue, Black Rock, St Michael, on November 8, 2018. He was represented by attorney Sian Lange.

Daisley’s plea came on the heels of a similar one from Wayne Ricardo Bryan, then 17, of School Lane, Halls Road, and Rashon Akeem Sealy, then 18, of 2nd Avenue, Alleyne’s Land, Bush Hall, both in St Michael, who pleaded guilty to manslaughter last week. (HLE)
