POLL: Talking Garbage

Date:

Share post:

GARBAGE COLLECTION woes have been plaguing Barbados for the majority of the year.

Last month, Minister of the Environment Dr Denis Lowe promised there would be some changes to collection which would improve service delivery at the Sanitation Service Authority (SSA).

Lowe said that daily or weekly garbage collection in every district across Barbados was no longer a sustainable option.

They were also looking to change the overall operating strategy of the SSA.

The poll question was: Are you confident that garbage collection will improve by December?

Almost 900 people responded, with 573 voting no.

That poll is now closed. You can vote in the current poll by scrolling along the right side of the page. (SAT)
