It’s down to Street Vbyz and D-Team

Added 14 December 2014

Street Vbyz and D-Team will clash in the Banks Beer Super League football championship match today.

The Mahaica playing field in Speightstown, St Peter will be the place to be for out-of-season fans for the grand finale at 8.30 p.m.

Last week, De-Team won their semi-final against tournament favourites Gullyside from the penalty spot, 4-2.

In the other semi-final, Street Vbyz defeated Speightstown 2-1 to make sure that two teams from the south would be in the championship match.

It is expected that a large crowd of supporters will congregate in Speightstwon for one of the biggest out-of-season finals.

Gullyside of Boscobel and Speightstown, the northern teams, will meet in the third-place match at 7:30 p.m.

The presentation ceremony will be held on December 30. (BA/PR)
