Fiveāeducation officers in the Ministry of Education have brought a lawsuit against the Government, claiming that as a result of the regrading of their posts they have been constructively demoted.
Senior education officer Vaneisha Cadogan and education officers Pamela Hunte, Peggy Agard, Pauline Millar and Celeste Clarke-Cox, are seeking judicial review of the decision to regrade education officers below principals and the failure or refusal to pay the pensionable allowance as designed by the Ministry of the Civil Service to address those who had moved to education officers under the old grading.
