Police probing drug shipment

A MAN IS in police custody assisting with investigations into the discovery of 24 pounds of cannabis at a “Bridgetown import business” on Friday.

According to police public relations officer Acting Assistant Superintendent David Welch, the illegal drug was found in a personal shipment of animal feed received from overseas.

Welch said further investigations led to the suspect being detained. (PR/NB)
