CHRISTMAS IS ABOUT the celebration of the birth of a special child.
And yesterday was no different when the focus was on a baby boy and girl, who are remarkable in their own right.
The bigger and older “baby” was Joseph Thomas Greaves, who entered that elite category of centenarian and was feted by Governor General Sir Elliott Belgrave and family and friends at Nazarene Gap, Jackson, St Thomas.
And as if she knew she was the centre of attention, the first baby to be born yesterday was picture perfect as she faced the clicking cameras.
The six-pound, 15-ounce daughter of Shanell Wickham came into the world at 3 a.m. at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital. (YB)
