No one can outshine the record of Gay Smith’s Zoom at this route. He packs 129 pounds and will go close. Stablemate Knight Rider, also penciled in at 129, will want to enter his Gold Cup day assignment with a win under his belt.
Voldermort will want to correct his last effort with a more purposeful result despite the 129 handicap weight. Vanity Affair looks the best of the ladies; she takes 124 pounds for this engagement.
Sir David Seale’s Dazzlin David, Aysha Syndicate-owned Just Cool Man and John D Chandler’s Noble Appeal all share the top impost of 128 in this second high profile event the Realtors Luxury Villa Rentals Limited Trophy Condition Race over 1 100 metres.
This race, which is for imported non-West Indian bred three-year-old maidens and West Indian bred three-year-olds could prove a little tricky when trying to arrive at a winner.
Dazzlin David has looked good in his recent starts while Just Cool Man flashed some speed in his most recent run. Snow Storm, handicapped with 123 pounds, came home all guns blazing when just falling by a head to reel in wire to wire winner in Inwon.
Storm Cat Glory has also displayed some talent before and even with the weight of 123 pounds will be looking to exit the maiden ranks.
The pair of Alley Cat and Midnight Run is aware of what winner’s enclosure feels like having done so as two-year-olds, their handicap weight of 113 and 118 pounds respectively doesn’t seem to assist it tilting the equation in their favour.
