Poetic Licence reigned supreme yesterday at the Garrison Savannah in the 26th edition of the Michael Parravicino Memorial Hopeful Breeders Stakes & Trophy over 1 570 metres.
The Bills Inc.-owned filly gracefully dismissed her 11 Barbadian-bred three-year-old opponents (allotted weights) to gallop home by four-and-a-half lengths. Jockey Rickey Walcott sent the daughter of Kit Fisto out of Poetic Justice straight to the front and remained there untroubled throughout.
 The favourite Howulikedisname missed the break and never factored, and the chasing main group was led by Favourite Cat, Thismeanswar, Bandit, Double Jeopardy, Gayzing and Donicodidit as the others struggled at the back.
