THERE IS A RAY of sunshine peeping through the otherwise grey conditions under which the folk at White Hill, St Andrew, are living.
The Barbados Water Authority has planted another main to increase the water pressure for the folks to get a constant flow.
Travel has become a lot easier, too, because the Transport Board has provided a bus to shuttle residents in and out of the area.
And relocation of some homeowners has started as evidenced by the presence of workmen from the National Housing Corporation in the area dismantling a house for relocation to Farmers, St Thomas, also known as White Hill Terrace.
But the residents are still waiting in hope for more relief. (RL)
