AN ARMED BANDIT robbed this Scotiabank branch at Black Rock, St Michael, yesterday morning of an undisclosed sum of money.

Several customers were inside the bank when the robbery occurred, but no one was hurt. The bank was closed for the remainder of the day.

The masked man wearing a green shirt and black pants escaped through the neighbouring Deacons Farm area.

Police patrols were busy yesterday combing that district as well as nearby Ferniehurst and Brandons looking for the culprit. (MB)

Here, customers who witnessed the robbery being interviewed by a policeman inside the bank.
