Pickering counter suit

THE DEVELOPERS of the stalled housing project at Pickering, St Lucy, have filed a counterclaim against the Canadian businessman who invested US$750 000 into the project.

In court documents obtained by the SUNDAY SUN, the defendants are claiming a total of US$1.85 million in damages from Denham Jolly and have charged that his refusal to honour an agreement to advance an additional US$2 million, was the reason that the houses at Pickering Court were never built.

Topping their claims list is US$1.63 million, representing loss of profit on the houses not started.

The defendants include Pickering Court Development, Northridge Development Company, Stanley Yearwood, . . .
