Gill leads karting list

A clean sweep. That’s how champion driver Nicholas Gill opened the defence of the Barbados Karting Association’s (BKA) Frutee Championship at Bushy Park last Sunday.

Competing in the Yamaha 310lb Class at the wheel of an SDRR kart, Gill won all four races allotted to the class and ended the day with the perfect score of 100 points, brushing aside the challenges offered by Kyle Proverbs and his brother Reggie, both in similar SDRR karts who scored 84 and 72 points respectively.

Calvin Barlett, the other driver in the class, ended with 16 points.
