LESLEY BARROW was a museum curator for 17 years before becoming an attorney at law. She worked hard to create national and regional awareness of the heritage and history of Caribbean islands.

After her sudden death seven years ago, her friends moved to honour her legacy and memory, setting up Lesley’s Legacy Foundation, through which  selected young people engaged in the arts continue to be supported in various endeavours.

That’s why so many of Lesley’s friends and supporters of the foundation were at “Landmark”, the St Joseph home of Kay and Keith Robertson for the major annual fundraising brunch, which has gained a reputation for good food and delightful entertainment. Opera singer Amanda Fields, the Sistaz group, Jamal Slocombe and Joseph Callender were among the talent on stage.
