SCOTIABANK IS CLOSING its Black Rock, St Michael branch but the bank says no jobs will be lost at this time.

The announcement came yesterday from the bank’s local boss, David Noel, as he revealed the action was part of the global restructuring exercise announced last year by Scotiabank’s global boss, Brian Porter.

Noel, who is Scotiabank Caribbean East’s managing director, met with staff at the Black Rock branch yesterday to speak about the changes, a release from the company said.

The branch will be closed on June 12. (GE/PR)
