AN ADULT ENTERTAINMNT ADVOCATE has called for exotic dancers to be included in the CARICOM Free Movement of Skilled Persons agreement.
Furthermore, outspoken president and founder of the Global Adult Industry Association, Charles “Charlie Spice” Lewis, has urged the ministers with responsibility for immigration and culture to step in and “handle the matter” of the Royal Barbados Police Force’s pledge to continue raids on gentlemen’s clubs.
Voicing his concerns over the recent raid on a City club that saw 28 exotic dancers being arrested, Lewis described it as a “colossal waste of time, resources and taxpayers’ money”.
Twenty-one Jamaicans and one Guyanese were among those held. (SDB Media)
